Tomkins supports the next generation of construction professionals through structured cadetship opportunities.
Our cadets gain practical experience across multiple disciplines including site operations, contract administration and project coordination. Working alongside experienced project managers and site leaders, cadets develop a real understanding of how commercial and industrial projects are planned and delivered.

We believe the best way to learn construction is by being involved in it. Cadets are given responsibility early, supported by mentoring and exposure to the full project lifecycle.

Our estimating team engages with trade partners early to ensure scopes are clear, pricing is coordinated and submissions are well supported. Our projects are supported by clear documentation, structured coordination and professional contract administration.

Tomkins values long-term relationships with subcontractors who share our commitment to safety, quality and disciplined project delivery.
We work with trusted trade partners who communicate clearly, operate professionally and take pride in their work. All subcontractors must meet minimum safety, compliance and insurance requirements and operate in line with our Integrated Management System and Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner accreditation.
