Tomkins has been recommended for continued certification to ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 following an external audit by GRS Certification, with no non-conformances raised across quality, safety and environmental systems.
The audit, conducted earlier this month, examined the company’s Integrated Management System, which brings quality, work health and safety and environmental management together under a single framework. The auditor commended the openness, honesty and professionalism shown throughout the process, noting that the “Tomkins ethos and passion” is evident across the organisation.
Continued certification was recommended across all three standards: ISO 9001:2015 for quality management, ISO 45001:2018 for work health and safety and ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management. The outcome confirms that the Integrated Management System remains effective and aligned with the company’s quality, safety and environmental commitments.
The Skye and Jalrock project teams were recognised for their preparation and responsiveness during the audit cycle, which helped the audit run smoothly and on schedule.
HSE and Systems Manager Jason Farrell thanked staff across the business for their contribution to the outcome. “This result is a credit to the whole business and reinforces Tomkins’ strong culture of continual improvement,” he said. Work now continues on strengthening systems and site practices ahead of the next audit cycle.
