Construction of Iona College Brisbane’s primary classrooms expansion project is officially underway, marked by a groundbreaking ceremony and blessing held onsite.
The new facility will be designed and constructed by Tomkins for the College’s Year 5 and 6 cohort, continuing a relationship between the two organisations that began with construction of the award-winning Provence Centre in 2021.
Mike Tomkins said, “Today we gather not only to celebrate the commencement of construction, but also to acknowledge the trusted relationship Tomkins has fostered with Iona College and the wider school and local community since construction of the award-winning Provence Centre began back in 2021.”

Tomkins thanked Iona College for once again placing its trust in the company to design and construct the facility, and is confident the project will make a positive and lasting impact on the development of the College’s primary students for years to come.
