Sherryn Davidson is celebrating 15 years with the business this year, a service milestone that also reads as a short history of the finance function she helped establish.
When Sherryn started, the finance operation was in its early stages. As the business has grown, so has the department around her, and much of that evolution carries her fingerprints. She has been instrumental in the transformation of the finance function, implementing construction management software, streamlining compliance processes and integrating AI tools to improve efficiency across the department.
The role has demanded constant adaptation. Industry changes, evolving regulations and the company’s own expansion have each reshaped the demands on the team, and Sherryn has navigated all of it while supporting the growth of the finance team and ensuring the department keeps pace with the wider business.
Much of the work happens away from site, but its impact is felt on every project. Sherryn is an important member of the finance team, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so that project teams, subcontractors and clients can rely on the systems that sit beneath every build.
Fifteen years of continuous service is a significant achievement in any industry, and it reflects both Sherryn’s contribution and the working environment that has grown alongside her.
