Tomkins second Home Consortium bulky goods retail store refurbishment in Tingalpa has been completed. The Tingalpa store is the second Queensland store to open in the Masters conversion roll out.

Tomkins scope of works consisted of the creation of 6 new retail tenancies within the existing space. Works for the tenancies included new electrical distribution and base build hydraulic services to each of the tenancies. Inclusive in the works, Tomkins completed warm the warm shell fit-outs for BCF and the Good Guys and a full fit out for Anaconda. The new retail mall features epoxy flooring and feature ceilings to the mall entry. The Tomkins team were required to infill the existing Masters garden centers’ roof and walls while also resurfacing the flooring to be suitable for the tenancies. Tomkins relationship with the client was kept professional and well organised. With an already tight time-frame, Tomkins managed the 16 floor plan revisions, 50 head contract variations. Tomkins did what was required to complete the project within the original time-frame, this included, working 7 days per week with night shifts to cover the additional works added during the construction period.
