I would like to thank and congratulate you for the quality asset that has been delivered by Tomkins in our recently complete Library and North Regional Business Centre at Chermside. The professionalism and proactivity with which you and your team managed the design, the site and the communications with both us and our key stakeholders throughout the design and delivery phase was exceptional. As a result, the building and integrated fitout that has now been transitioned successfully to operational phase have been very well received by CBIC and our commercial tenants, and the library is and will continue to provide a great gathering place for north Brisbane community for many years to come.

Given the nature of our building developments occurring within an existing, large community of residents, staff and visitors the management and performance on site is of huge importance to us and in this regard Tomkins has performed extremely well. The site management personnel have led activities very effectively and responsively, in alignment with our own site management team. This has resulted in positive outcomes for our existing residents and staff with disruption absolutely minimised and, importantly, goodwill being maintained across the community.

From an organisational perspective we have valued the professional collaboration with Tomkins corporate team which has enabled successful planning, sound decision making and a unified approach to each project. The willingness to adapt and be flexible pending our emerging requirements has also been appreciated.

The working relationship between Tomkins’ site team and the Librarian kept open communications and was key to minimising disruptions and coordinating around exams block periods.
