The purpose-built RSEA Safety facility at Brisbane Airport has won a Master Builders Queensland Award for Commercial/Industrial Building from $5 million up to $15 million.
The Master Builders Queensland Award for Commercial/Industrial Building from $5 million up to $15 million recognises the purpose-built RSEA Safety facility delivered at Brisbane Airport, and with it, the incredible team behind the project. Special thanks go to client Brisbane Airport Corporation for entrusting the work and to the subcontractors whose dedication and high-quality workmanship carried the build.
The facility itself reached practical completion in May 2023, located within Brisbane Airport’s thriving Export Park precinct. The 3,900m2 building accommodates a warehouse, 400m2 of office space and ample on-site parking, purpose-built for national safety equipment supplier RSEA Safety.
Sustainability initiatives were built in from the outset. The project incorporates a 280kWp solar system, daylight harvesting strategies and energy-efficient lighting, reflecting the shared commitment with Brisbane Airport Corporation to responsible development across the airport estate.
The award adds formal industry recognition to a project that strengthened one of the company’s longest client relationships. Work with Brisbane Airport Corporation spans multiple projects across the airport precinct, and delivery continues on several current developments within the estate.
