The first perimeter scaffold is coming down at Harbour One, offering a first glimpse of the rendered block and glazed facade as structural works near completion at Sanctuary Cove.
After months hidden behind scaffold, the character of Harbour One is starting to show.
The first sections of perimeter scaffolding have been removed at the Sanctuary Cove development, revealing the rendered block and glazed facade of the luxury apartment buildings for the first time. It is the clearest sign yet of how the finished project will present to the marina.
Structurally, the buildings are close to complete. The focus now shifts progressively to ground-level hard and soft landscaping and to the internal finishes that will carry the project through to completion.
Designed by Bureau Proberts, Harbour One comprises three low-rise residential buildings over a basement car park, with two four-storey apartment buildings fronting the marina and eight two-storey townhouses behind, connected by an open landscaped podium of approximately 11,000m2 total built area.
The delivery reflects a strong working relationship with client Mulpha, built through the project. Among the developments to watch as the build progresses are two bespoke penthouses overlooking the marina, created by amalgamating four standard apartments across the upper levels, a significant design evolution incorporated during construction.
Working within the established Sanctuary Cove precinct brings its own responsibilities, with construction logistics managed carefully around neighbouring residents, businesses and marina operations.
With the facade now emerging and finishes underway, Harbour One is moving into the phase where progress becomes visible week by week. Further milestones, including full scaffold removal and crane dismantling, lie ahead as the project tracks toward completion.
