Tomkins Commercial’s strength across the industrial sector continues to grow having recently delivered a sustainable cold chain perishables distribution warehouse for logistics industry global leader, DHL.
This custom designed structure features a 4,806m² warehouse in which 3,048m² is ambient and 2,000m² of perishable containing cold rooms and freezers, 700m² of office space, a five-bay sunken loading dock and a 1,800m² super awning.
Maintaining Tomkins’ commitment to sustainable building practices, the building’s sustainable attributes include a rooftop solar array, reusable batteries to power warehouse operations, rainwater harvesting infrastructure and EV forklift charging stations.
