Sustainability is integrated into our planning and construction methodology from early design through to completion. We work with clients and consultants to identify practical sustainability outcomes that align with project objectives, regulatory requirements and long-term operational performance. These initiatives are assessed against programme, cost and buildability to ensure they support overall project performance.

Tomkins has delivered projects achieving Green Star ratings, incorporating responsible material selection, waste management and energy performance considerations where appropriate.

Our Gateway @ Murarrie project achieved WELL Core Platinum certification — the highest level under the WELL Building Standard and the first Australian industrial project to do so. Administered by the International WELL Building Institute, WELL recognises buildings designed and operated to support the health, comfort and wellbeing of occupants. The Core pathway applies to base buildings and shared areas, addressing key features across air, water, light, comfort, sound, materials, movement and community. This achievement positions Gateway as a high-performing, people-focused workplace environment.
