Airport Industrial Park Programme is Flying

Aramex warehouse and distribution facility built by Tomkins featuring modern industrial architecture and corporate office frontage

Two projects delivered and three under construction: the programme of work at Brisbane Airport’s newest premium industrial precinct is in full flight, with every project targeting a 5 Star Green Star rating.

Brisbane Airport Corporation’s Airport Industrial Park is taking shape quickly, with multiple Tomkins construction teams undertaking works.

The first two projects have already been delivered. The Aramex freight and logistics facility, completed in March 2024 four weeks ahead of programme, gives the global courier a 25,070m2 warehouse with two-storey office accommodation configured for 24/7 parcel sortation and last-mile operations. Alongside it, the AIPN01 Warehouse has been handed over as a market-ready industrial asset for the precinct.

Three more projects are currently under construction. The AIPN02 Warehouse is a single-storey office and warehouse featuring off-form concrete panels, timber-look battens and solar panels. The Australia Post site will deliver a two-storey office and warehouse integrating advanced sortation equipment and direct airfreight access for Australia Post’s growing parcel network. The Martin Brower facility pairs a two-storey office with refrigerated and ambient warehousing for the cold-chain distributor.

Every project in the programme is targeting a 5 Star Green Star rating, representing Australian excellence in better, healthier and more responsible buildings. Sustainability initiatives are woven into each step from design through construction, supporting Brisbane Airport Corporation’s ambition for an environmentally responsible precinct where businesses can thrive.

Building at an operating airport adds a layer few industrial precincts demand, with crane operations, structure heights and construction methodology all managed within strict aviation requirements.

The concentration of work reflects a long-standing relationship with Brisbane Airport Corporation built across many projects and many years. As the remaining facilities progress toward completion through 2024 and 2025, the precinct is fast becoming a showcase of sustainable industrial delivery at one of Queensland’s most strategically connected locations.
