Following the completion of the successful Hikari Apartments, Tomkins was once again engaged by Golden State Developments to design and construct their next development – Augustus Residences.

 The contract included the design and construction of a new nine storey residential development in the heart of Toowong. Augustus Residences features 90 luxury apartments in one, two and, three bedroom configurations with three levels of basement parking a spacious lobby, a standout rooftop entertainment area featuring a 10m infinity pool overlooking the city.

Familiar with both the client and constrained sites, the project team developed a plan to ensure the size of the site was maximised to its most efficient potential. This included engaging traffic control full-time, lane closures for construction events, and site sheds and washroom facilities located on a gantry. With minimal space to store items on-site, the project team relied heavily upon the timing of deliveries for sequencing of works.
