September 2013
A particularly difficult fitout project due to various controls or hold points, the Asbestos removal and restricted access into the site.
Complete building isolation, air monitoring, and EPA Certification were required prior to any new work being carried out. With all work occurring inside the existing building envelope of an old Commonwealth Bank in the main street, there was very limited access to the front of the building and shared access to the rear. Commencing in March of 2013 our project scope included a full detailed services upgrade to the whole building, complete upgrades to the Amenities, external building signage, new ceilings & office partitions, full office furniture fitout and entry glazing. Whilst experiencing a 5-week delay due to the early Asbestos concerns this successful project was completed in September 2013 to the considerable anticipation of the Council.
