Team recognition is an important aspect of Tomkins’ culture. We like to make sure our employees know they are appreciated and that they are the core of our business.

We regularly host large and small staff events as a way of saying thanks to our hard-working employees, and as a chance to catch up with staff from all over the business and across all of our sites.

These range from Friday afternoon knock-offs to family days out, a round of golf to project wrap-up events, industry awards nights and always a big bash at the end of the year! Every time we win a job, we ring the office bell and celebrate!

We run a monthly company-wide staff meeting where the latest topics of safety, upcoming business, progress of projects and innovations are openly discussed to promote the sharing of ideas and communication of key business focus points.

Our on-site culture is one in which safety comes first. Through our ‘Think Safe Be Safe’ monthly initiative including educational resources and site BBQs, we make it clear that nothing is more important than ensuring the safety of our staff, subcontractors, clients and the public.
