The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager with a strong work ethic to join our energetic, collaborative and fast growing team.

You will deliver a range of commercial, industrial, institutional and multi-residential apartment projects ranging in value from $5M – $50M.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Site Supervision
  • Occupation Health, Safety and Environmental Management
  • Quality Control
  • Subcontractor Management

About You
You will need to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ site management experience in the construction industry
  • Experience with varying construction types and construction methodologies
  • Confidence in ability to manage subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
  • Understanding and adherence to project budgets
  • Monitoring productivity and programs
  • Monitor workmanship and identify and manage defects and rectification
  • Implement and monitor project specific Occupational Health and Safety including, SWMS, Quality Management Plans and Environmental Management Plans
  • Experience in the management of Quality Assurance, Health & Safety and Environmental project requirements to experience in certified AS/NZ 9001:2008 Quality Management systems, AS/N25 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems and AS/NZs 4801:2001 Safety Management Systems
  • Computer skills an advantage

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management and/or Quantity Surveying is desirable
  • Excellent computer skills, experience using CHEOPS financial management software would be advantageous
  • A proven ability to work within defined quality assurance procedures
  • A clear and concise understanding of Australian Standard building contracts and their administration
  • Design and construct experience
  • Demonstrated experience in contracts administration including preparing the subcontracts accounts, financial control and reporting of the project

  • Experience in preparing tenders and cost plans for lump sum and design and construct projects
  • Have excellent time management skills, with the ability to organise and prioritise your work load
  • High standard of communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to liaise with contractors, design consultants and other team members
  • Possess excellent computer skills
  • Knowledge of Buildsoft or Cost X would be a distinct advantage
