Tomkins was engaged to complete the design and construction of the latest Total Tools commercial tenancy. The warehouse consists of 3000sqm of commercial tenancy space, 1500sqm of which will be tenanted by Total Tools and the remaining 1500sqm will be able to split from 1 to 4 tenancies providing flexibility for the client.

The build utilises a concrete tilt-up methodology, with concrete tilt panel walls that will be cast on site. The project will include a structural steel roof frame with a colorbond roof.

The concrete slab will be poured using a Dramix steel fibre reinforced concrete, which eliminates the need for conventional mesh or steel reinforcement. The slab will be laser screeded to ensure a tight tolerance is maintained throughout the entire slab.

In addition to the tenancy space under the roof, the development also includes 3000sqm if concrete car park hardstand that will provide parking for up to 73 vehicles and 3 loading zones.
