An existing Water Asset treatment and storage facility required a deteriorated roof structure to be replaced and the reservoir to be refurbished.

The critical nature of this asset to the areas water supply required that considerable coordination was awarded to establishing suitable secondary storage of the water resource prior to any work commencing. The decanting of the water and commissioning of the secondary systems were all supervised and orchestrated in collaboration with the client to ensure no loss of service.

A detailed process of reservoir repair and refurbishment occurred in accompaniment with new roof structural supports while the new aluminium roof covering was being fabricated off site. The full and final re-commissioning of the WTP occurred ahead of time and without disruption to any water services.
