Tomkins has turned the first sod on site at Parklands Christian College this week where we will be constructing a brand new 3,300m2 multi-purpose sports hall facility and car parking area.
Principal David Baskerville is pictured here with the Tomkins team, turning the first sod. It’s an exciting time for the College, with the new facility being designed to provide built presence and make a lasting first impression on those driving through.

The hall will have three multi-purpose sports courts, a stage, store room, and amenities blocks. Tomkins will also be constructing minor extensions and upgrades around the College to really lift it into the future of schooling.

Interesting design features of the multi-purpose sports hall include its considerable height at 13m, with a large raking roof and translucent polycarbonate wall cladding.

The project commenced on site this week with civil earthworks where we will be removing over 2,000m3 of fill from site.

The Parklands Christian College new Sports Hall Facility is due for completion early next year.
