Tomkins work on the Australian Catholic University's (ACU) stunning Saint John Paul II building (Building T) has won one of the nation’s highest building accolades, a Master Builders Australia award for excellence in building and construction.
Tomkins recently completed the construction of a three-storey apartment building in Wynnum that features 10 two and three bedroom units and a ground-floor car park, well elevated, to capture the refreshing bay side breezes.

Positioned centrally in the James Street Fortitude Valley retail precinct, this refurbishment project provided a significant aesthetic enhancement to the precinct bringing world-class retailers Pottery Barn and West Elm to the precinct.
We did it! Tomkins took home the win at the Master Builders Queensland State Awards for our Australian Catholic University project in the Best Education Facility over $5 million category. This project is one of Tomkins’ proudest moments and we are so happy to see this reflected with a Master Builders State award.
