Tomkins recently completed the construction of a new retail centre in Albany Creek including a new Red Rooster Restaurant and Drive-Thru and two additional adjoining food service tenancies.
Tomkins scope of work consisted of the demolition of the existing office space and construction of a warm-shell fitout of Red Rooster, a cold-shell fitout of the two adjoining tenancies and general and Red Rooster-specific amenities.
Fully completed external works comprised of external cladding including vertical metal sheeting, expressed joint CFC and Weathertex timber composite cladding, a concrete drive-thru, asphalt car park, full landscaping and fencing.
The new Red Rooster is a modern addition to the local area which will provide convenience for local residents and environmentally friendly bike locker facilities and end of trip facilities.
The Tomkins project team have delivered a subtle modern aesthetic with pops of ‘Red Rooster red’ to the satisfaction of the client and the tenant.
Tomkins has been awarded the contract for the build of Essence Woolloongabba, 89 stunning 1, 2, or 3 bedroom master planned apartments designed by award-winning architects ROTHELOWMAN.
The apartments will feature light-filled and spacious open-plan living and dining areas and breezy balconies.
First-class finishes will feature in both the kitchens and bathrooms featuring Athena Marble-look stone benchtops, Bosch stainless steel appliances, timber-style flooring throughout, and natural Himalaya tiles in the bathrooms.

Construction is well and truly underway on Gympie Rd (Swan Street) of the new 219 place Bloom Child Care Centre. This week saw two significant milestones achieved; the completion of Structural Steel to the Feature Entrance, and new lift shaft to the old JB HI FI building. Glazing and timber composite panel cladding works to the Front Entry Feature are scheduled to commence in the near future, which will aid in further conveying the grand scale of the architects proposed design.
